2016 Nursery Trends!

We've searched high and low to find the latest trends and ideas for the most precious room in your home - the nursery!

Pretty Pastels

Pastels have been a trend in nurseries for years, think the baby blue and pale blush pinks. 2016 will take those traditional colors and add a contemporary feel by combining them with bright, vivid pastels such as periwinkle, pale greens and lilacs for a look that will stay on top of trends as your little one grows. Expect to see Pantone Colors of the Year at the top of the paint chart this year - Rose Quarters and Serenity.

Mother Nature

A popular nursery trend for 2016 is the unfinished look. We don't mean messy - but untreated wood finishes. Think wood panelling on chest of drawers, bamboo blinds, dark wood cribs - bringing the great outdoors inside in the classiest way.

Up in the Clouds

Looking up into the sky can be incredibly soothing for both children and grown-ups! It's all about the great outdoors again with the next nursery trend for 2016 - bringing cloud, stars and moon motifs into the nursery, for a light, airy atmosphere - using light blues, greys and whites with bold navy blues and rich gold for the perfect cosmic pairing. A beautiful trend for a nursery out of this world!
